How do I book a tour?
To book a tour please contact us and arrange a time and a place. We will also give you a quote. As some jobs will vary depending on size, conditions and location we may need to visit you before hand to go through the details more thoroughly.
How long will it take?
Once you have booked a photographer will visit you. It will take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour do one or two single 360s. An interactive tour will generally take between 1 and 2 hours for 4 - 10 rooms. This includes time to draw a floor plan.
Once post production is complete your tour can be online within 1-3 days of the photographs being taken.
Will I need to do anything before the photographer arrives?
Whatever is being photographed it is being photographed to showcase your property, business or place of interest. It is important that it is clean and tidy. If you are having a tour of your house made you may want to declutter and depersonalise it.
How do I pay?
Payment can be made to the photographer once the shots have been taken. Other arrangements can be made but will need to be agreed at the time of the booking.
Payments can be made in cash or cheques made out to 360fusion.
What about the Weather?
If weather conditions are not favourable and the client wishes for the outside shots to be taken on another day then the client will need to schedule another visit. 360fusion will count this as additional work and provide the client with a quote for this additional work.
For tours that mainly consist of outdoor shots an appointment will have to be arrange with a check up phone call on the morning of the day of the shoot and may require to be rescheduled if the weather is not acceptable.
How is a 360° movie made?
The 360 degree movie isn't really a movie as such. To create it a room is photographed using a digital camera on a tripod. The camera is rotated 60 degrees after each shot. This will produce six horizontal images which cover a 360° area. an up and a down shot can also be taken to create a full spherical 360° by 360° movie.
These images will the be stitched together to create a big panoramic image. This image will then be made into a 360° movie with software. The viewing window only covers a part of the image and the larger panoramic image can be moved around behind the window to create the illusion of motion. All you are really doing is viewing a small section of a large panoramic image.
